Rayhall, Pistone Team Up for Assault On UARA-STARS Rookie Title

CHARLOTTE, NC (MARCH 7, 2012) -- 2009 UARA-STARS Champion car owner Tom Pistone has chosen Sean Rayhall to drive his late model stock cars during the 16-race UARA-STARS tour this season. The team's first race is slated for March 17 at Hickory Motor Speedway, a track where Pistone's original LTO chassis has had much success.

"We're extremely excited about running with Sean this year in the UARA-STARS," said Pistone, former owner of Performancenter Racing Warehouse. "We learned a lot about racing the tour when Matt McCall won the championship for us in 2009 and we have full intentions of winning top rookie honors this season."

Rayhall echoed Pistone's sentiments.

"I've had a lot of racing experiences from legends cars, formula cars, even the ProCup Series, but racing in the UARA-STARS is by far the pinnacle of my career thus far," said Rayhall. "The competition in the UARA is second to none and it has proven itself as the best training ground before moving up to ARCA and NASCAR's regional and national touring series."

Rayhall brings an impressive resume to the UARA-STARS. He has competed in various forms of motorsports including road racing and the very popular US Legends cars in the southeast. The 17-year old has amassed over 70 feature wins in those divisions in less than 150 starts. The No. 14 of Rayhall will be sponsored by 1st Action Services of Atlanta and Advanced Envrionmental, Inc.
